Not All Of Them Are Good...

THE WORLD'S UGLIEST SHOES

Unfortunately not all shoes are worthy to be on our feet...even with the saying "there's always a old shoe for a sick foot". Me being the girl I am, would rather go barefoot than to be caught in one of these "beauties". What really surprises me is that some of my favorite designers joined in the insanity. I won't prolong this entry by trying to share the extent of my rage over what I truly believe to be a crime...after seeing these, I'm surprised i still have 20/20 vision.

Really?! "I'm going to sit on this chair with my high chair shoes!" Not only
who made these deserve to be shot, but also the incredibly fashion
challenged woman that wears it.
Getting married should be a time when you actually pay attention to what
you wear, even if normally you don't (which is not understandable, but...).
If I was the one waiting at the altar and saw these coming down the aisle, I would
take a hint from the sneakers and run for the hills...

OK...who the hell did you murder?! And what did you do with the
rest of the body? Wait, don't answer that...
Did a whorehouse from the 1920's throw up on your feet?

Do I really need to say anything besides where's
my blue liquid?
UGG's are already ugly, but after the collaboration with Jimmy
Choo, this is the result. Tassels and star studs?! Come on!!

Figured I'd save the best for last...Who the f**k makes these? I can answer it,
unfortunately, her name is Iris Shieferstein and in my opinion, she is a taxidermist
gone completely and utterly mad.

I tend to agree with you about the hideousness of most of the shoes posted and I cannot fathom a situation where one might need to wear them.

However, I have to disagree re: the wedding sneakers. Something that understandably might not have occurred to you is that there are some people who are unable to wear traditional wedding shoes due to injury or birth defects but would still like to wear special shoes on their wedding day. My sister-in-law, for example, was born with spina bifida and is unable to wear most "normal" shoes and heels of any kind are not an option. At her wedding to my brother she and all her bridesmaids wore decorated white sneakers. They decorated their own but it's nice to know there are options out there for those that need them.
